LE YOGA, L’APANAGE DE LA FEMME SAUVAGE
A practice thousands of years old
The earliest evidence of yoga practice dates back to two centuries before our era. However, it's easy to imagine it existed long before! Yoga isn't simply a sport or a hobby; it's a way of life and a way of thinking. Serenity, strength, and harmony are its key principles. The art of yoga encompasses various styles, each combining postures in a more or less dynamic and fast-paced manner. Ashtanga Vinyasa, for example, as practiced by Marina Minard, is a very dynamic and physical form that allows you to develop strength and flexibility.
The eight aspects of yoga
A true art of living, the yogic philosophy has eight branches:
- Yama; Ethical Principles
- Niyama; Personal rules of life
- Asanas; The postures
- Ranayama; The breathing technique
- Pratyahara; The withdrawal of the senses
- Dharana; The ability to focus one's attention
- Dyana; The Art of Meditation
- Samadhi; The ultimate stage leading to a state of absolute unity and well-being
After assimilating the principles and ethical guidelines of yoga, the learning of postures and breathing techniques can begin. This is the stage practiced in daily life yoga classes, the one that tones, strengthens, calms, and increases flexibility. The spiritual dimension of yoga is represented by the aspects of Dharana, Dhyana, and Samadhi.
Miraculous practice
The benefits of yoga are countless, but this practice, when performed correctly and regularly, can yield extraordinary results. Eva Ruchpaul is a perfect example. Afflicted with a paralyzing illness since childhood, she devoted herself to yoga. Little by little, she overcame the disease. Yoga alone could not have done much, but combined with Eva's strength of character and determination, this ancient practice proved to be life-saving! Today, at 91, Eva Ruchpaul heads her own institute, training the next generation of yoga teachers. She is also a highly respected yoga master and continues to practice her art.

The prerogative of the Wild Woman
Yoga has seen a surge in popularity in recent years, but this practice is thousands of years old. This art perfectly aligns with the lifestyle of the MAEVY Wild Woman. A pure expression of strength, elegance, and serenity. An effective way for every woman to reconnect with nature and awaken the vibrant energy within.
