Personal data

The purpose of this Privacy Policy is to inform you about the ways in which MAEVY (named here Editor) implements to collect and process your personal data, that you are required to provide to MAEVY through the use of our Site in the strictest respect of your rights.

The Publisher undertakes to preserve the confidentiality of personal information and data provided by Users. Any provision of personal information and data to the Site by the User implies the User's acceptance of the data protection policy described below. This data protection policy applies to all personal data provided by Users on the Site.

What is the RGPD?

The regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing the directive 95/46/CE (hereinafter "General Data Protection Regulations" or « RGPD ») aims to harmonize data protection laws within the European Union and to increase the protection of personal data.

This means that the RGPD specifies how companies (for example MAEVY) must inform its customers and prospects about how their data is collected and protected. In addition, the law extends the legal possibilities of users regarding their data : their right of access, deletion and portability.

The information collected by the Publisher and the recipients of this data

The Publisher may collect, record and use personal information of the following nature :

a)  a) Informations on the User's computer and on his visits to the Site (including IP address, geographical location, browser type and version, operating system, reference source, duration of visit, page views and navigation on the Site) .

b) b) any informations that the User communicates to the Publisher via the contact form or when creating an account or placing an order.

The recipients of the information collected by the Publisher are the persons in charge of the marketing department, of the sales department, services in charge of handling customer relations and prospecting, administrative services, logistics and IT services as well as their line managers.

Data security

The Publisher undertakes to implement appropriate measures to preserve the security and confidentiality of Users' personal data, and to prevent them from being distorted, damaged, destroyed or accessible by unauthorized third parties.

The personal data provided by Users are stored on the Host's secure servers.

Applicable law

The Site and the Conditions are governed by French law regardless of where they are used. In the event of a possible dispute, and after the failure of any attempt to seek an amicable solution, the French courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction to know this dispute.
